Ediciones el corno emplumado / Plumed Horn Editions
Title
Description
Ediciones el corno emplumado (Plumed Horn Editions) was a series of small books featuring standalone works of richly illustrated poetry and narrative. Published in Mexico City by Margaret Randall and Sergio Mondragón under the umbrella of their bilingual quarterly magazine El corno emplumado (1962–1969), the Plumed Horn Editions imprint offered eleven books in a bilingual series called Colección acuario (Aquarius Collection), as well as three more English-only books in the Colección La Llave (The Key), and one book of visual art in Colección La Ola (The Wave). At least six other titles were offered under the general imprint. As Randall writes, "like the magazine that launched them, they include important writing and visual art from the mid-twentieth century." As of December 2020, this collection is represented by book cover images only. We expect to make full text editions available as soon as it proves feasible.
